It’s no secret that we love both classic cars and custom cars. Today we get a look at something that crosses both lines, the 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle ‘LT5-Powered’ Laguna. This beautiful machine was brought to life by Chevy and comes just ahead of the SEMA show. The ride serves as a showcase of their new supercharged LT5 6.2L crate engine, the same that is found in the 2019 Corvette ZR1.
The ride features the beautiful body of a 1973 Chevelle Laguna, powered by the most powerful production engine ever made by Chevrolet. Clocking in with a whopping 755 horsepower and 715 foot-pounds of torque. Which means that this Chevelle Laguna might just be the meanest of the model to ever be built. It also boasts Chevy’s first dual-fuel system, with direct injection and supplementary port injection. And that makes its sinister all-black paint job and carbon fiber hood all the more appropriate. Put simply, this ride is mean as hell and ready to take on anything. If you want to see this one in person, you’ll have to head out to SEMA at the end of this month.
